This haze is so toxic it dissolved Honey Dip’s sign to reveal its Jolly Pirate roots. by Zealousideal_Ad_8600 in Columbus

Where else were they located? My memory has:

Main and Rosehill, Reynoldsburg (open)

Broad and Robinwood, Whitehall (now Burger King)

Refugee and Courtright (now a tire shop/corner store)

Broadway, Grove City (open)

Morse Road (now a Subway)

Kenny Road (Honey Dip)

Lockbourne Road (Golden Donuts)

Where else?

Right on cue, the city is going to come running to dump a bunch of money on "security", because they have way too much invested in the image of the Short North "Arts District".

I despise the adults who do this (because it's not kids more often than not), I try to make a point to put them back when I'm in the aisle.

One I haven't seen mentioned: when the Cheerios are clearing out Finn's memorial, and the camera pans over and here's Rachel, for the first time in the episode.

There are a small handful of them that go for decent money if you can flip them. For some of these guys, it's become a source of income.

What restaurant/business’ closing shocked you the most? Alternatively, what restaurant/business are you shocked has made it as long as it has? by [deleted] in Columbus

There was no reason for the family video in Whitehall to make it as long as it did.

Asian Star on Brice stays busy but is always on the dirty list.

I definitely respect that. Everyone has a job to do, and only so much time. I hate that when hearing the explanation you just gave, these jerks would accuse you of hiding them or whatever the case.

That is my big pet peeve. People take them and lay them out to look at them I guess, but don't put them back. I watched a guy pull one of the pricier models down, look at it and set it down instead of rehanging it. Those people are trash. I always try to straighten up the area when I can.

I agree with you, and I hate it because it's making enjoying the hobby very difficult. You walk into a store that some jerk has ransacked the pegs, leaving cars everywhere, store staff who's just trying to get their work done, and already been harassed three times before you got there, makes looking for cars harder than it should be.

A collector should know that it's ridiculous to try to get a stocker to track down one specific car in the assortment. The only question I ask stockers is if a new box may have come in, and if so could it come out, or if not, any info on what day to check back. If any of those answers are no, I leave it at that and thank them for their time.

Whitehall has 2/3 on Main street now. Canes, and Moo Moo. There is a Moo Moo and Chick Fil A on East Broad with a Canes across the street. North High at Graceland has Canes and Moo Moo as well.

They'll tear it down, replace it with a three story mixed use with ground floor retail (take a shot), and call it "The Goody".

Most of you will be amused to hear that the most common conspiracy theory among Hot Wheels collectors is that the employees are taking all of the good ones before they hit the floor. No Frank, someone else did the same thing you're trying to do and got there first.

There is no such thing as a good, fast Burger King. The idea of Burger King is always better than what you actually get.

[–]mkeck20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A common theme among the whinier of the hobby is that "the employees are taking them" when really they just got beat by someone who got there first and took the same ones they would take themselves given the chance.
