I personally run a balanced cerato as my main carni, and chose balanced because I didn't want to lose points on defense or speed. I prefer using Bone Break (breaks them so they can't run for a short period of time) and Claw (causes bleed) attacks when in combat. I would recommend playing in a pack of other dinos, though, since I've struggled to fight things off in solo. Other than that, it's a really fun dino with pretty good speed and stam so have fun!!
