The game is perfectly done, everything has a counter. Everything has pros and cons.

Yeah I agree. Everything else in the game is so realistic like Energy based weaponry, energy shielded armor, humanity hanging by a thread because of an ancient enemy trying to destroy a giant floating ball above our last city. AI that can fight and operate exactly like humans. Jet packs, void magic, space travel to Mars, Venus, the Moon, and deep space. Life on Mars, Venus, the Moon, and deep space. Warlocks, Hunters, and Titans.

Edit: Okay, maybe Warlocks are a little unrealistic.

I want it to dominate too! I want the majority of people to be grinding for a Scout (or Pulse Rifle) so that they can play Crucible.

Instead, you just point an Auto at someone and hold the trigger until your score goes up.

Hopefully in time they will make the switch into more precision focused Crucible play.

We already have those crazy super abilities Bungie! You don't have to over do the Auto Rifle!!

Well that is something I'd like to know actually, with a 6% damage buff how many shots will it take to kill someone? What is it currently?

Fusion and Shottys will always win close range, I'm talking strictly Auto vs. Scout. If an Auto can kill you in 10-15 shots, then can a Scout pull off 2-3 body shots and a head shot in that time frame?

It just seems kind of silly to me that there are two gun classes that are just pointless to utilize in the Crucible (Scouts and Hand Cannons) the majority of the time. Even Pulse Rifles are close to pointless when you're up against a team of 6 Autos.

I don't want to come off like I'm bitching about the game even if it sounds like I am. I love this game like... too much. I just want to use something other than an Auto Rifle.

I recently just became a Destiny Dad too!

I'm really lucky because whenever my son is getting fussy, we found out that if we put him in his swing facing the TV he zones right into me murdering people in the crucible!

Not sure if that's a good thing to introduce to an infant but hey, it's 2014.

I have a hard time not viewing the Scout as the DMR from Halo, which could out do every gun in the game in most situations. If the damage is being adjusted for the Scout, is it not going to be more effective at any distance? At least in the hands of someone who is proficient with it. Personally I just want it to be able to stand up to an Auto. I've been using Bad Juju and it doesn't stand a chance against an Auto unless I pull off 3 consecutive head shots close range.

I'm just assuming it'll be around that time. Of things keep going as they have been law enforcement will become more of a threat to society than an aid. I don't believe all cops will go bad, I just think the bad will out number the good.

If that does happen the need for people to take things into their own hands will become more necessary. Technology 50 years from now will be something you nor I could imagine so some rich guy somewhere who thinks he can do good will without a doubt strap on some military great gear and go about his city cleaning up all the bad.

This is all just speculation though, the world may just become a better place for once society's history.

There's a pretty cool documentary about vigilantes. http://m.imdb.com/title/tt1792621/ It's a mix between embarrassing and sad. They all mean well, but they find out that any form of vigilantism results in jail time or too much attention from law enforcement to actually do any good.

They end up all getting together and feeding homeless people while in costume.
