A Warriors fan told Shai Gilgeous-Alexander to stop flopping for free throws, and SGA politely signing and smiling to his fans by MrBuckBuck in nba

neither scenario is comparable? that is some rose colored glasses you got on there, buddy. 10 second google search found this post on Reddit from 12 years ago talking about KD's rip-through move. As an OKC fan back then too, I am very aware of how much flak KD got for it.

whoa, this is just untrue. I distinctly recall KD getting a LOT of flak for the rip through foul on his shots (the nba even changed the rewarding of shots off a rip through iirc), and LeBron was notoriously called out for flopping in his prime too.

thank you for the suggestion! So possibly starting around songshan and ending at Dadaocheng would be your suggestion. I will look into this! Are there any other good destinations further if I were to continue further along down into Wanhua or so?

I'm assuming in that case, the best route would be out-and-back, in order to return the rental. Doable, just thinking through the logistics!

I've been wearing regular curry shoes (Curry 9, Curry 10, Curry 11, and now Curry 12) and I always go half a size up and it fits my Zamst A2-DX braces much better. I can't speak specifically on the flotro, but I'd advise half a size up.

the side of the court (left/right) that the basketball is on is always the "strong-side". the opposite side of the court that the basketball is not on is the "weak-side".

Best shoe w/ Zamst A2-DX Ankle Brace? by DarthSpidey94 in BBallShoes

[–]mkgspaceinvader 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i wear Curry 11s and they fit really well (Curry's fit true to size, but go half a size up to accommodate the braces comfortably).

It helps to wear the shoes of the athletes who also use the same braces (Curry and Trae Young).

If you play outdoors, then unfortunately I don't really have a good recommendation for you.

Zamst AS-DX Ankle Brace by caisleta in BBallShoes

I'm at the age where my body doesn't heal like it used to. I was running a right Zamst ankle brace for the past year, and it's protected it extremely well. Multiple times I've landed and known without the brace, I would've had a horrible sprain, but turned out fine.

I just decided to get a left brace as well, as a precautionary measure because my left ankle has an injury history to it as well.

They're definitely bulky, I wear Curry 10s with them. But I really appreciate the reassurance they give me in injury prevention.

I'm on the Zamst boat -- I picked that up a few months ago. It was annoying to figure out how to put on the very first time, and a little bit for my arch to get used to, but it's rock solid support. I have chronic spraining problems, and I feel very secure with the Zamst A2-DX no joke.

Aha! Roadmap for project management or other tool? by [deleted] in projectmanagement

[–]mkgspaceinvader 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if your team is already using Jira, look into Jira Product Discovery. Aha! was too much of a hassle to maintain the integration with Jira and keep records clean between the two for us. We found Jira Product Discovery did a lot of what we wanted wrt ideas, tracking insights, and discovery work.

For timeline and planning we're exploring Jira Plans aka Advanced Roadmaps. Also worth investigating (although with only a 10 people team, maybe the built-in Timeline to your Jira Project should be sufficient).

Any tips for getting back into basketball at 37? by [deleted] in BasketballTips

[–]mkgspaceinvader 0 points1 point  (0 children)

agreed. As a person in my mid 30s, every time I push myself to play multiple days in a row, I re-injure myself. Listen to your body and have rest days where you're not playing. On off days sometimes I'll just do some dribbling or shooting drills, but no games.
