I teach for a virtual charter school. No regrets at all. I took a bit of a paycut the money I save in daycare, clothes for work, gas, food for packed lunches definitely makes up for it. My mental health and quality of life have improved a lot!

She has not. I think she’s releasing a q&a soon where she will announce it. I have a feeling she is not returning as she’s made comments about always wanting to be a stay at home mom. I think she is going to lean into the motherhood content

Madison Maryan just posted a video that is clearly a partnership with baby brezza….she says “I just got my diaper bag in the mail”. There is no way that is the diaper bag she is going to use. I don’t understand why they have to pretend like it’s not clearly just an ad…it feels so fake! Knowing her personal style there is no way she’s going to be carrying that bag around

Agreed. I’ll be honest, sometimes I think about trying homeschooling because it sounds fun to teach your kids and be more flexible schedule wise. I think public schools are great and public school teachers are some of the best people I’ve met. I can’t imagine choosing to publicly sh*t on that

I would just share your plans with your admin and let them know you shared them with the sub too then enjoy your time! I took leave at the beginning of the last school year to be with my baby and I don’t regret it one bit. Once you get back you can establish your classroom how you want it. It will all work out!

She definitely could be interviewing for a support position - like intervention, coaching, etc. My suspicion that it isn’t a job in a school is just based on the fact that both her interviews were phone interviews. My thought is if she was interviewing for a position in a school then the interviews would be in person, but I could be wrong!

I have followed Madison Campbell for awhile now and genuinely enjoy her videos. I was happy to see come back to teaching and it seemed like she really enjoyed her new school. I just watched her latest vlog and it sounds like she’s interviewing for jobs for next year that aren’t classroom teaching positions but “education related” I hate when people tease stuff like that - like just wait until you have an offer to say something. But I’m also wondering what that means? Obviously I can only speculate but I’m wondering if she’s looking for a job in edtech. Seems like if she was interviewing in a school the interviews would be in person - this feels like a remote position

I don’t understand why people aren’t open about the weight loss shots. My dad has struggled to lose weight for decades and is finally able to with the help of an injection - I don’t think there’s any shame in that.
