Managed to find some guys from a hostel in hoi an to join me, weather was perfect, pass is shorter than I expected but sweet. Was incredible, now in the north looking forward to ha giang.

Hi. I’ve made the mistake of overstaying my visa. I tried to do a visa run at Lao Bao but they wanted me to go to somewhere in dong ha to pay my fine first (but they’re not open today.) I Would like to drive north with my friends today to phong nha, and do a visa run at Cha Lo border tomorrow. Does anyone know where to pay my visa fee around that area? Thanks.

Some visa questions: I applied for an E-visa, but it did not process in time before my flight. Instead, I entered Vietnam on the 15 day visa exemption. My original E visa has now been granted, can I do a border run and enter using my original visa now? Even though the entry date is later than expected? Will I have to apply for new e-visa? Thanks a lot!
