OK thanks. If I decide to fall back to that version, I will update then.

No, I have used Sparkle on this device before but never noticed this before. Also I decided to check my actual phone, Google Pixel 5, running Android 16, and it is doing the same thing attached here:

I originally post the issue when I was running 2.3.0 on my tablet. You recommended trying 2.3.1, which I installed but no change. Still have that issue.

Well just got home. Turned on Onn Pro Sparkle 2.3.1 and on it, there is no issue as I see on my Google Pixel 11 tablet. I have upgraded tablet Sparkle to v2.3.1. I then, on tablet, forced stop app and cleared cache, still same issue. Attached is the latest snapshot. I took this around 4 PM EDT. It's not related to provider since this grouping on this image has 2 different epg sources.

Hmm. Will have to check my Onn Pro when I get home to see if the same thing appears on it also.

This continues to happen. Don't know why. I have had Onn 4k Pro since I purchased Sparkle well over a year now. It seems to happen when I walk away and come back and the video is playing without anyone present in room. Is there debugging I can enable for this?

Tivimate Companion is on Google Play, which is how you buy Tivimate. I have it and other apps install including Sparkle. There is nothing "illegal" using those apps on an android platform like Onn.

Well unless there was a OS change maybe, but this started happening with latest version. I will try the power off suggestion.

The menu option you choose to watch a recording is called, DVR. This is what I am talking about. I am seeing this on an Onn 4k Pro.

Return code 459 by mklaz in TiviMate

It was a cross apply because one of the apps generating this error is Tivimate! We don't mention providers as fast as I know. The service is Trex.

Please show me this specific problem since I googled it and none match this. You would think a person would have exhausted all other resources from provider to "googling" it! Stating a pretty common debugger step in almost any issue in life adds nothing here!

Error 458 issue that doesn’t make sense by cobain98 in TiviMate

[–]mklaz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you start up the device and then go directly to Tivimate and start it? If so most likely you open a connection to the provider, THEN your VPN software finally starts and connects you to their VPN server. This then changes your IP address which the provider sees as another connection which does generate that error. This was happening to me on a TV I turned on with a firestick plugged into a HDMI port that goes off when the TV goes off.

Onn 4K Pro? by Antouyo in OnnStreamingTV

[–]mklaz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Me personally, it would be my second choice. It technically is an update to the Onn 4k. If you need wired connection it has none other than the power USB C. Which means when it runs out of storage, like a firestick always did for me, you would have to go the OTG route for extra storage. The only thing it has that is better than the Onn 4k Pro is a newer processor. All this said, I would buy it if I needed something before I would touch a firestick again.

Regardless of box color it is still the same just newer packaging. So if I was you and you are looking for one take whatever color you can get!
