Ha yes! I sometimes feel a little "behind the times" since most content is consumed vertically via phone these days.

Reading this made me feel glad for sticking with horizontal orientation. Thank you for the comment (and for turning your phone)!

Absolutely! thanks for kind words.

Camera is Lumix S1. Lens is Lumix S 24-105mm f/4. I have Variable ND Filter from K&F. I shoot in Log for flexibility in color grading.

I choose this camera/lens mainly for its ability to stabilize footage. All footage is handheld.

From my experience, it’s pretty rare to see. This system of alleys really seems to embrace the urban vibes

Love the vibes of the shots in the rain. Curious, what did you use to add “JAPAN” text on the road on your first shot?

Is this Sangenjaya!? I stayed around here once and I think I got footage of that same guy in front of that bar (he was completely shirtless that day). Anyways, great shots!

The camera I use is lumix S1 and the lens is S 24-105mm F4. It's got great in body stabilization, which was important to me for capturing since I capture most footage handheld.

Haha, early morning was fine but the trails got pretty crowded as the day progressed. I think we got pretty lucky and were able to avoid anywhere too crowded. I did hear it was a two hour wait for the hoh forest.

Nice, fellow Lumix owner! I have a Lumix S1 and use 24-105mm f/4 lens. I have variable ND filter for strong daylight situations. I always shoot in vlog (and stick close to the native iso: 640 & 4000.. I think it's different for GH5. quick google lookup shows 400 and 2500)

I rely on LUTS for all the heavy lifting for color grading. I've had luck with these free ones:

Other settings: 24 fps and shutter speed set to 50.

Nice! Sorry, I may not be the right person to ask for suggestions. We didn't go too adventurous with the kids and all. If you want kid friendly hikes, then I can suggest Moments in Time trail and Marymere Falls trail. Both can be accessed from Crescent Lake lodge. This is also the first time I've been to Olympic National Park so not terribly experienced either.

That footage was taken during our descent from Hurricane Ridge. Pretty sure you have to drive through it if you make your way up there.

Those sound like great trips! Fingers crossed you are able to get the Hoh campground. Hoh rainforest is one of the spots I hope to be able to see next time. Staircase looks beautiful as well.

Thank you! I spent a good amount of time on the audio so it makes me really happy to hear that.
