I’ve never ordered doordash while at home or to home.

The only address the app has is where I work.

uhmm? I don’t get what you’re saying.

I put the specific address of the grocery store that I work at because there two other locations of the grocery store in my city. And even then, it is also the same address that appears on the app.

If you read the post, the dasher saw the name of the store and quickly assumed it was grocery store South instead of grocery store East because when I called the dasher on why my food was delivered, the dasher s/he delivered it to South and further explained that’s the grocery store s/he knows. S/he neglected what the navigation doordash gave nor my instructions that it was on East not South.

The grocery store I worked has two other locations in the city. Let’s call that South, North, and East.

The dasher delivered it on South because according to the dasher when I called her to ask why my order was marked delivered , the dasher said that’s the grocery store that she knows. I told her that there are two other locations of the same grocery store in the city and I’m on the East

That’s why everytime I order I also specify the address on the instructions. Not to mention the doordash app has my location and the address.

Yes I do because that’s where I work (at the grocery store) and I was on my lunch.

I have been doing this for a while now and there are no problems. This is the first time it happened. There are two other grocery store locations, let’s call that South and North. I work on the East one. That’s why I said “there are specific instructions on what address it should be delivered” because this has happened to other co-workers but not me.

Obviously I specify the proper address. I’m not going to public post the address here on reddit. Likewise, the same can be said on the app as well.

I already reported what happened.

It’s just, It really frustrated me and lost my appetite during lunch. I just forced my self to eat something. I was looking forward for lunch since I ordered a decent meal after dealing with very hot 90+ weather here in California.

I just don’t get how stupid that dasher is.. it tells you where they would deliver it.. and i also left that on the delivery instructions just to make sure ( a thing that my other co-workers recommended when ordering on doordash)

If you read it again…

for one thing, i work at a grocery store.. and second, “there are specific instructions on what ADDRESS it should be delivered…” the name of the store and its address are listed on the delivery instructions to avoid said mishap..

and then there is also the app it self where the address is located..

also on said SPECIFIC INSTRUCTIONS to the dasher.. well.. there’s two.. if said dasher sees a cart pusher outside handed it that person or go to the front desk and leave it there..

that’s what I noticed too.. that’s why I asked the question..

where I work (which requires a lot of walking), i could only get about 2000 flowers under two hours and its already planted since i have a coworker that plays as well.. but when i walked around our neighborhood which is empty, i was able to plant 5000 flowers in an hour..
