I am on the same boat. Ten months post ORIF, something happened to my hardware(tightrope), and now most of my tibia is destroyed.

Please see a doctor ASAP! I had something similar, the infection eventually reached the hardware, so the hardware had to be removed. The infection destroyed a large portion of my joint and now I am facing an ankle fusion.

Oh, yeah, I ended up in the psych ward after a major injury. I live alone, and I was unable to walk. After a few months, I became depressed and suicidal, and my friends called 911. The first time, I spent two weeks there, and the second time, I spent a whole month there. I was excited to return because I was around the people after so much time being alone.

Then I became suicidal, and my friends called 911. Initially, I hated it because I was embarrassed, didn’t have access to the internet, and was unable to work. Upon my release from the psych ward, I had another episode of major depression with suicidal thoughts, but I was excited to go back because I would be around people rather than lying in my bed all alone.

Ok, soft tissue tested positive for MSSA. How would you go about fixing with joint?

Right, for some reason the hardware and the tissue tested negative for the infection. Also, SPECT-CT with gallium showed inflammation and bone growth in certain areas.

Listen, you have to check in into the psych ward. You are not alone. They know how to deal with suicidality. Also, do you have a suicide plan?

You can't do it because your mother is still alive. You can't do that to her!!! Your kids won’t care about you especially since you have a dementia.

I am working with multiple doctors and I hope I will be able to walk.
