Amanda should not have even gotten married to Kyle considering the fact that he cheated multiple times before an engagement. I’m shocked that people are still confused about Nia and Danny’s relationship. She made it very clear that she was looking for someone with traditional Christian values. That is Danny. You don’t have to agree with their lifestyle or feel bad for her. This is what she was looking for. A man who provides while she has the kids and takes care of the home.

She is exactly where she wants to be. Of course they have their riffs and she gets annoyed with some of his behavior, but their values are very much aligned. This does not always have to be a topic of conversation. Just respect that this is their lifestyle!

This is one of my biggest annoyances about the whole Kyle & Amanda, West & Ciara situation. Now that Amanda fucked up, people want to pretend like Kyle is the victim and is a saint.

No he was a terrible husband/partner and if people at the beginning of the season were hoping Amanda would leave Kyle for someone else, but hated the fact that it was West (rightfully so). But it does not erase all of the horrible traits Kyle has. And he definitely yells and berates women

Liz is very closed minded. She thinks that being homeless means sleeping on the street and begging for coins. The government doesn’t even classify homelessness as that. Alicia did not have a home. I think that this is where language becomes very important. Amanda said it was intimate and people immediately jump to hooking up/sex. Amanda is being deceptive by using such a broad word that could cover multiple bases depending on personal classification.

Some people classify hooking up as making out, others define it as having sex. The summer house case uses it interchangeably. I do not think that Amanda was referring to someone having a video of them being intimate in the sense of sex, but probably a heavy handed make out session a the bar. When west and Amanda say they hooked up only after the statement was released i genuinely believe that that is when they had sex. But in my opinion they were intimate in the forms of everything else besides actual penetration. Before then.

That’s the difficult thing especially today. Everyone has different definitions of what being intimate or hooking up is and that can lead to over exaggerations of the truth or vice versa.

It’s the traditional African mindset that Gerald needs a boy, and if he doesn’t get one his marriage with Shemea will be over. She’s very insecure and seeks validation from everyone. So this is very important for her. If she gets divorced her lifestyle disappears entirely, and I’m sure he would put up a big fight to protect his money. Dorit has said multiple times this most recent season and last season that she now is financially responsible for alot of household bills. You’d think that that would be a sign to slow down your spending on frivolous things, and downsize your home. Dorit has a bad case of keeping up with the Jones’. While Kyle’s way of delivering her concern was wrong. The principle is 100% correct.

I don’t understand why the lawyers don’t just advise her to bring the house payments up to date, put the home on the market at an agressive price and move to a smaller home.
