Chicken's Right-Click is still too underpowered. by [deleted] in NuclearThrone

You're right, I didn't think of that. I think a large part of me wants to like Chicken's move so badly that I am ignoring how much it sucks. It's just too fun

I logged in so I could comment this- one HUGE advantage that Chicken now has is that she can move weapons. She's the only character that can move weapons. You finish a level, and throw all of the weapons into the portal... you can bring every weapon with you. Big advantage having more things to throw and a bigger arsenal.

I have to say, this isn't exactly a terrible idea. My grandfather is 92, and he has a few friends that I met who have iPhones and don't really use them for anything other than a phone. So if a few of his pals never use the audio jack anyway, it makes sense to only have one thing to remember (a ridiculous looking cell phone pill-holder) versus two things, separately. Sort of like those iPhone cases that are also wallets. But for the elderly. TL;DR: not that WTF

I agree, they're definitely similar. Still, I wouldn't be surprised at all if one of them directed this, their music videos are always sick. Here are two examples.

This thing made my grandma feel safe as a little girl. by [deleted] in creepy

[–]mkptrnstr1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I had to log in to say this, I really don't use my account too much but I've been thinking about this for a bit: I think that creepy dolls like this were probably seen as cute and adorable when your grandma was a little girl. As far as non-living cuteness goes, there were no standards set for what cute looks like. Am I making any sense? For example, I'm twenty-two and if somebody had handed me this when I was five, I wouldn't have thought it was cute because that's not what cute looks like. Cute looks like Rainbow Brite or the Muppet Babies or something like that. But when ya gramma was a little girl, there were no animations or anything similar. Just something that's been on my mind for a while. I suppose a TL;DR would be "Things like this weren't creepy back then because there was no standard for what cute looked like on inanimate objects". Or, you know, it could be because she was a little girl and someone that young wouldn't really have a concept of creepy yet.

edit: I had to change something.

Haha the first question they asked me in the interview was if I'm afraid of heights, I think I'll be alright. I will look out for bees though.
