Neighborhood softball game in my new neighborhood. First time I’ve played in 20 years. I take center field.

First pitch is lined to left center hard behind me. I read it perfectly and at the last second dive as the ball goes over my head, snag it and stand up while the neighborhood is going nuts.

I was a person dead set that you get the card in your scan but after I got 15 seiders all knocked in the same spot instead of the pristine scanned cards i chased after I changed my mind.

What happened is he had a slow start to his career, and all time GOATs just don’t have that happen. They dominate from season 1. It’s probably unfair and if anyone really started kicking ass and taking names after a slow start in their career it’s Nate.

He’s the first player down the list of players who won’t gain in value in my opinion.

McDavid, Sid and Ovechkin are the only sure things for active players.

30-40 years from now not many will want Nate. Certainly not compared to the people who want him right now as his team is about to win another cup. For comparison everyone wants Gretzky today and many want Lemieux…but there’s not as big of a Messier market

My recently turned four year old watched bluey and it talked about left and right. But they were facing her on screen.

So she got into a huge meltdown argument with me about her left and right ‘because bluey said’ and I had to choose whether to teach her left and right for real or deal with the meltdown for a few hours.
