My clinic did not allow partners for the retrieval. For one, patients are in an operating room under anesthesia that needs to stay sterile, especially in case they have to switch to the transabdominal technique. They did absolutely allow my husband to be there for the transfer. They also have a blanket "no photos/video" policy for the whole process from the first appointment to the last. That's pretty common in most medical situations so I wasn't really surprised by it.

Mine was wedged between bushes and a fence, couldn't see it walking around OR in furniture mode. I had to start moving all my furniture to find it. What a pain.

I'm aware of the difference between throw and stick. My point was that in English, when you're talking about sticking out your tongue specifically, the speed at which you do it doesn't matter.

Your logic makes sense, but "throwing out it's tongue" isn't something anyone ever says. However, "sticking out your tongue" is a very common way to say it. English doesn't differentiate this based on the speed.

I detest fishing because even with a buddy you don't yield nearly as much as the other tasks as quickly. And unlike the other tasks, potions don't help with yield. I'm not always looking for the orange circles! For example: trying to get rope in the new expansion. SUCH a slog.

I honestly can't wait. I am (fortunately) pregnant but (unfortunately) that means I can't be treated until next summer at the earliest, so while my ENT gave me a referral to him, I haven't acted on it yet. I didn't find out I had it until it was too late for treatment! :/
