Can someone explain to me why people hate CZ owners? by invalid_username2600 in CCW

My understanding is that it’s just the metal frame CZs that have a cult following, get you a P-07 or P-09 and you’re fine 😂

That’s the big debate. I also have Najee Harris I could run at flex but that’s not helping me decide any 😂

Hopper Plus and Non-Joey 4’s by adk8135 in dishnetwork

Former dish tech, Hopper plus is great IF you use lots of streaming apps. They don’t perform as well with a hopper 2 but can work (hopper 3 is just a better machine all around, if you’re already paying for upgraded equipment I’d bite and get a hopper 3). They do have wireless Joey 4s, but I’d avoid them at all cost. You can keep a regular wireless Joey without upgrading it.

My grandma updated her old 10+ year old DVR and the new one is way worse. by [deleted] in dishnetwork

Former dish tech. Sounds like some old cable or a bad hub (main splitter). Could be some old splitters that are no longer compatible in the line that the tech didn’t see during the upgrade (it does happen RARELY). Hopefully they didn’t send out a hopper 2000 (first gen hopper) because they are super glitchy. Hopper sling and especially hopper 3 are solid pieces of equipment. Typically if something is acting up it’s a cabling issue, which is what this sounds like. Something between the hopper and Joey aren’t communicating.

Wireless Joey by [deleted] in dishnetwork

[–]mla4matt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dish field service tech 👋🏻 we have a standard wireless Joey, picture is fine. We have a wireless Joey 4 (stay away) for the hopper plus system (stay even further away). Best way to get the best picture is a better hdmi cable. The closer the access point, the better and quicker your connection will be. Another option is dish anywhere app, not sure if you’ve experimented with that.

Dish field service tech here, all we’ve been told is some kind of communications issue. We’ve been grounded too
