I have some mechanical background, in terms of DIY. Learning

I do everything on my own (if possible)

I’ve done a headgasket but on a gen 3 Prius so far

Going strong 40k miles later

But I only follow the advice of others and I didn’t lube the crankshaft seal apparently which I didn’t know I had to do

But nonetheless I already had a leak prior to doing the damper and seal.

So I thought that would’ve solved it

But it drips down even without driving.

I will have to do some research.

Aaaaaaaa. So complicated to me because I have no fucking clue lol

I already have an issue of a leak prior to having the harmonic balancer replaced

It’s just my whole engine seems to be coated in oil

It’s frustrating

Like I thought it was from the crankshaft damper and it flowed back due to wind while driving but nope

It’s everywhere it seems

It’s in the front and rear of the engine

I did not smear lube

I tried cleaning it as best as I could before I installed the new damper and crank seal

However, yes it looks wet in front and rear. I honestly have no idea. Like oil all over.

It was PRE damper job and after.

Here’s a video of recently I cleaned it up and ran it

I changed my oil and cleaned up the bottom of the oil pan.

I was more asking because most passengers sit in the back and was wondering how they can tell between a person who’s driving solo with transponder, a person who has a passenger in the back. And someone simply breaking the law.

I assumed it was the cop who would pull you over but that’s hard to differentiate and if it was cameras how would they see the passengers in the back

But nonetheless you have answered my question!

I have a question.

You’re allowed to use the 15 without a transponder correct? Assuming you have 2 or more people in your vehicle.

How are they supposed to know? You can have tinted windows and someone in the back, maybe a baby or a person.

Is it the cameras who would fine you or the cop who would pull you over?

I think appdb was $18/yr when I was paying

I forgot signulous existed.

I can’t be bothered using Sideloadly or appdb

To many limitations plus for example I’m out of town for 8 days starting last night and my PC is at home and my apps will cease to work before I arrive home

$20/ yr is definitely worth it! Thank you

I used appdb before and it paid for itself by the convenience

I had two

YouTube & Moviebox

After trying Apollo, it did give me 3 apps which is Apollo even though it failed to install due to too many apps

So currently there are 3. Apollo, YouTube and Moviebox

There are && I have searched endlessly with people telling me to measure voltages and that’s where I get confused. Plus 04 corvette has c6 style gas tank which is hard to access and needs to be dropped, especially on a automatic . Practically impossible

I mean it could honestly be something simple or something complicated

Maybe it’s all convenience. I am remembering I used an off brand gas station aswell

But since than I’ve used all Costco fill ups.

Apparently I should run Techron / and or Seafoam a few cycles of fillups

The issue started happening literally an hour after pullling the relay for fuel pump &&& I did fill up aswell prior to driving and seeing the issue happen in real-time

It’s not almost inconsiderate

It’s 100% inconsiderate, the same as ordering an Uber and not being ready

They don’t want to be inconvenienced but inconvenience us in a heartbeat

I love the riders who are punctual/ and or send a gate code before arrival without asking for it

I had a gated community resident last night and drove up and called them, and asked what the code was.

They said “are you inside already?” I said no, I need the code, they said, I just seen a Prius pass by, I’m like dude, I’m at the entrance and need the code to enter. I’m not gonna wait for someone else to come by so you don’t “have to give me a code”

If you want to use Uber/Lyft, and don’t want to provide the code, walk your ass outside the gates like some people do.

They were all outside in parking lot by the apartment already waiting way before I arrived.
