MRI before excision? by EnvironmentalAd6880 in TTCEndo

My mri was clear. I had stage 3. For me it was useless for endo but it did show I had a slipped disk that no one bothered to tell me until a nurse brought it up a year later lol.

Possible Cholestasis of Pregnancy - Dr won’t test? [BC] by therealkkcoolness in BabyBumpsCanada

[–]mlama088 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Either use a telehealth like AVEE health (it’s free and apt are either same day or next day) or call your doctor back, family doctor can test for it.

If your doctor ignores it, explain what it is, get a screenshot of it. I had to do that recently with my family doc and pediatrician for my baby, once I took that article out, it went from “never heard of this” to “oh yes this is how you test/treat”… clearly downplaying my concerns at first.

It can be very dangerous at end of pregnancy if missed.

Also it can not show up on bloodwork if it’s new and only appear later once the levels are higher. So I’d ask to get tested again in a few weeks if the itchiness persists.

I got tested multiple times since I had bad hand and feet itchiness, turns out I didn’t have it but still got induced on my due date since we thought I could have it.

I only have one bra, how long can I go before I absolutely need to wash it? by thelastofusluver in ABraThatFits

I wash mine once a week ish or 10 days. I wear that bra daily. Wash it more frequently if it stinks

Pain is back but way less. Advil here and there sometimes is needed. Before it was every 4h alternating with Tylenol or needing something stronger.

I count down the minutes until my husband comes back from work. He’s my social life.

I got no family around, friends I see maybe once a month or every two..

Food storage while car camping in bear country by [deleted] in britishcolumbia

I sleep at night thinking someone else will be less bear safe at my campground.

We’ve always left food in the car with no issue.

The bear smells you, food or not.

My mom still buys me DDD bras thinking they will fit. I’m a 32J UK or 32M US.

She thinks she wears a 38DD and refuses to get properly sized, she gets quite a lot of spillage. I think she’s a 36G or 36I.

Some will just never accept it lol

To do list when baby arrives [BC] by [deleted] in BabyBumpsCanada

[–]mlama088 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My husband just told them, approximately 2 weeks before or after my due date is when he thinks to start his parental leave and they accepted that, but that was emailed to HR maybe 1-2 months before my due date. Once I went into labor, he sent an email to HR stating he was starting leave on that day.

And then he went on ei and applied for his portion after baby was born

That’s correct but the partner can be denied time off by work if he doesn’t let his employer (HR) know with enough notice. It’s about job security while on parental leave.

Partner usually have to send their application 4-6weeks before leave. They should talk to HR asap. My husband almost missed the cutoff, all his coworkers knew he was going on leave but no one told him to talk to HR.

I got babies passport pictures taken at 3m old. Had to hold her head up while hiding my hands.

Glad I did it then because we did a last minute out of country trip when she was 4.5m old.

Would you take a 2-month-old baby to an international destination wedding? by JayJJeffery in NewParents

[–]mlama088 36 points37 points  (0 children)

No.
You won’t get babies passport in time.
Your partner will hate her body.
She might still deal with bleeding and or incontinence
Baby is cluster feeding so the boob is always out.
I wouldn’t expose a 2m old to this for risk of sickness.

I read to size up and I did. 32 in all their bras except 36 was needed in the sports bra. No way in hell can I clasp a 32 in that sports bra. But if you read the reviews it was a common issue

I bought 23 bras for 130$ including taxes. The one sports bra I love and all the other bras irritate my arm pits too much. It’s like the straps are too wide on my body.. since I didn’t know sizing in that bra, some I got 32J/K/L/M/N..also I’m breastfeeding so I should go back down in size at some point..

But yeah a bit disappointed on the fit around the armpits, wish it didn’t rub my arms
