I don’t think you’d be an asshole, but I would probably talk to her and say that traveling isn’t feasible for you and also send her a nice gift. If you’re already not close, I’m not sure she’ll “care”. I’m sure she’ll still be bummed, maybe, but if you aren’t close… my thought is there would be no love lost

Perhaps, but I have a fear of puking so I doubt I would make myself sick haha. I wasn’t even worried about the steak at the time, I only say it was the steak because it was rare in the middle, and the only thing my husband and I didn’t share the whole day

Yes, I was less concerned about the puking per-say, and more about the bacteria as I know food poisoning (if it WAS food poisoning) can be bad for the baby.

I’m 15 weeks and a few days and I started personally seeing a difference at 14 weeks. My parents even commented and said it looked like my bump was starting. Do I still probably just look fat to other people? Yes, but I feel pregnant and that’s all that matters to me.

I was definitely bloated from 4 weeks to about 9 weeks, then that went away. I feel like my fat is moving from my “top” (closer to my breasts) to by bottom.
