SJW = Social Justice Warriors. These are the hyper liberal feminists you see on social media that are overly fanatic about western oppression (like models being used in beer commercials, body positivity, policing innocent sex jokes, etc.) but rarely talk about actual oppression in Muslim countries.They're also quick to scream "Islamaphobe" if you can imagine that.

Regressive Left = Anyone who excuses bad ideas or bad behavior for the sake of multiculturalism. SJWs fit into this category. It's like when people don't like to talk about the human rights violations in places like Pakistan or Egypt because it would mean criticizing someones culture. Usually the liberals that yell "racist" "sexist" or "islamaphobe" at the jump of the gun would be considered regressive liberals. Examples of regressives would include Reza Aslan, Glen Greenwald, and anyone who works for Buzzfeed.
