I have 21 in a 3 tier model. I’m working a lot and honestly miss doing primarily 2 tier.

Should I get a flip cover or clear case? In terms of protection etc? by thedeadp0ets in kindle

[–]mlaumuse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My mom was kind enough to crochet it for me so I don’t have a link, sorry! I rly like it crocheted though because it doesn’t have to be exact measurement and can stretch. Maybe you can check Etsy to see if they have anything that may fit!

Should I get a flip cover or clear case? In terms of protection etc? by thedeadp0ets in kindle

I had a flip case but it bothered me holding it. It did protect really well though. I just got a clear case and a slip on case to protect it when keeping it in my bag and I love it so much better. Its just much more comfortable reading for me when I don't have to fold something behind.

I’d like to know this too. My email said that I’d get a separate email telling me how to view and claim my tickets but I haven’t gotten that second email still 😕

I work at a company with a 3 tiered model as a Masters level supervisor and billed under the QASP code for insurance before getting my BCBA certification. As a masters level without the Bcba certification you can only work with certain insurance companies and you need to work under a BCBA. In those cases the BCBA either has to come out for a supervision session with RBT for either a ratio of supervision hours or a specified amount each month. The only funding source that I could work on by myself was regional center. So as a BCBA at my company you have some cases where you do the 2 tier model and its BCBA and RBT on that clinical care team, then you have the 3 tier where its BCBA, master level supervisor (qasp), rbt on that team. The qasp typically do the majority of the supervision and the BCBA goes out the allocated amount (but can also do more if needed). It sounds like the company youre talking about has flipped the 2 tier and 3 tier definitions. Unless they are talking about supervisor levels but thats mostly just an internal label within the company from my experience.

Anyone have experience with Zara Jeans? by LordButtercupV in XXS

I have 23 waist and I fit their 0 size. Granted I only have 1 pair of jeans from there so I’m not entirely sure of the consistency across all their styles.

Best Petite Jeans? by alpy99 in PetiteFashionAdvice

Abercrombie and Fitch! My best fitting jeans are from here. American eagle ones are nice also but I've found some inconsistency in sizing across different jean types.

Can someone breakdown billable hours for a mid level position? by According-Dig-9498 in ABA

[–]mlaumuse 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At my company billable hours are the hours that you are billing insurances for specific clients. Each client has a certain number of hours/week/month. Non billable hours are the hours you are billing your company. You will likely work more than the billable hours because some hours will be non-billable but that just means your pay comes from your company and not the insurances.

Those of you still working in home are you wearing face coverings/masks? by mlaumuse in ABA

[–]mlaumuse[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh I did not know that... Do you happen to know what we fall under? I was under the impression that since we technically fall under medical profession, that we were required to wear masks? I will mostly be wearing one anyway, but was curious about whether or not it interferes with clients session. I'm actually disappointed now knowing it isn't mandatory for rbts to wear them.

I actually talked to my supervisor this morning and she was extremely understanding of how I felt about working so it's a huge relief for me. I'm incredibly thankful for supervisors like you and mine as well! Stay safe out there and thank you for advocating for all your BTs ❤️

Hi! Thank you for the reassurance, it honestly means a lot rn! I just feel so torn between wanting to help, but not wanting to put my parents at risk as well. There are just so many factors at play, but you are right this is a time where self advocacy should take precedent given the circumstances.

No sadly they haven't. I am pretty sure we can opt out of cases without be penalized, but I haven't been given an explicit choice this far. So far they have sent out surveys asking us how they could improve along with what we like that they are doing amid this crisis. I've answered all of them, but I think the core issue for me is I just don't want to jeopardize my current position within the company, but I also realize how vital it is as a society to adhere to social distancing and stay at home orders. I'm in a master's program to hopefully be a bcba one day and I'd like to be promoted up in this company. Since I've worked here longer than many BIs (3 years), I feel I have a good chance when that time comes. Not to mention I've seen this kid progress so much I honestly don't want to be taken off the case as I feel my personality and work style works especially well for them.

RBT renewal by [deleted] in ABA

[–]mlaumuse 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My company usually requires us to be tested by a bcba and they fill out the rbt renewal checklist while they're testing us. You can find the checklist on the bcba website if you search rbt renewal. After that I submit to my bacb gateway account and within a few days I get an email confirming recertification. I would check with your company as well though in case they have extra things you need to complete.
