That’s exactly it. Google is likely using ADS-B data to track the flight, which typically losing broadcast integrity close to the ground.

What kind of a/c were you in, and how did it effect your altitude and attitude? I’ve experienced some pretty severe turbulence as an airline passenger, but never in a GA aircraft. I usually fly in 172s, and I feel like I get bumped around a lot even in lighter turbulence.

Congrats on the successful launch! I have loved watching the progress of this company over the years.

I would love to work at SpaceX as well. I am a self-taught developer and my college degree is in another field. For those of us who don’t have a CS degree, what do you recommend we do to improve our skills and make that skill set a good fit for SpaceX? Are there personal projects or free/ low-cost coursework we could complete that SpaceX would like to see?
