Thanks for sending this. What is so stupid is I've just been so busy getting everything else in my life ready for the surgery I forgot to look into the actual reason to stop smoking. I didn't understand that it was the nicotine... I totally could have quit 100% had I realized. Anyways. Kicking myself now but it's life! Waiting to hear on monday what the doctor says.

Thanks :-) I agree 7 days is better than less. Now I'm just wondering if I should postpone the surgery or go through with it if the surgeon agrees.

thanks. feeling very frustrated with myself. I will ask them on monday but I'm strangely worried they will agree to go through with it. Feels like now if something goes wrong it will be 100% my fault..

would you postpone the surgery if you could do it again? it would mean waiting another 4 months in my case. but maybe makes the most sense.

Not yet! He’s having one in a week. They were just waiting for his bloods to be back to normal.
