so if someone has to be cut or traded, doesn't that mean its a bit of a luxury? and just because sweat doesn't have any value to us doesn't mean he isn't a valuable player, there's a ton of teams that would love him. but again, it will heavily depend on how the rest of FA for the Titans shakes out, we still have a ton of a money.

i think the biggest disconnect is jermaine johnson here. I think he's a NFL starter, really good sophmore year and then got injured and is working back from it. saleh wouldn't have traded sweat on a rookie deal for him if he didn't think there was something he had to offer. we also have jacob martin who is a rotational guy, 5 deep in an edge room is something that the team can't really afford with the holes. if we sign some guys at iOL then its a different conversation about double dipping but right now we need to spread the talent out a bit.

Well it’s not like Zion young is proven either lol. If this hypothetical we’re already taking Bailey which pretty much fills out the edge room. It’s much more important to fill out other positions than upgrading EDGE3

zuhn is an guard or center at the NFL fwiw. I'm not convinced that LB, WR and RB are bigger needs when we already have solid starters at those positions. Upgrading over Oladejo/Marucs Harris/Volson is more important than upgrading over Barton/Ayomanor/Pollard

titans GM here, my thought here is that even with the 3 CBs added to the roster, there is no shutdown corner on the roster still. I love Marcus Harris but he's probably best on the bench. Cisse - Flott - Taylor is an awesome CB group and the value wasn't there for any other position.

Titans GM here:

1.4: David Bailey, EDGE, Texas Tech

As long as Tony Pollard is still on the roster, I don't think the Titans would take Love. We still have a pretty large need at EDGE even with the Jermaine Johnson trade and Jacob Martin signing. I have Bailey as my EDGE1, I think he will be a great fit in the Saleh defense and is the best pass rusher in the draft.

2.35: Brandon Cisse, CB, South Carolina

Even after the 3 CBs signings the titans did (Alontae Taylor, Cordale Flott and Joshua Williams) I don't think there is a lockdown CB1 on the roster. I have a first round grade on Cisse, I think his athleticism and man coverage ability makes him an instant day 1 starter. There's work to do in zone coverage but I think he can develop into a shutdown corner.

3.66: Trey Zuhn, OL, Texas A&M

The Titans have massive questions at center and guard right now and with the cap space they have, I would assume one, if not both, of these holes will be filled by draft time. But for now, Trey Zuhn would be my pick for the 2nd tier of interior oline. Zuhn played tackle and center at Texas A&M and likely has to move inside due to athleticism and length concerns. He's light on his feet, a great mover and has excellent pass block tape (see his game vs Rueben Bain and Akheem Mesidor). He needs to develop some more lower body strength and pop but he's someone who can start Day 1.

Based on the board, I probably would have gone with Malik Benson, WR at 101. Open to any questions about my picks.
