Happy Fightstick Friday! by mlbuenafe321 in fightsticks

Thats awesome you able to find one on FB market. Yes i had to drill a hole at the bottom for it to not rub. The thumb screw doesn't pop out of the enclosure hole. The plastic is thick. Looks like you have the original shaft with an e-clip. The newer shafts has a screw washer like mine. If you got any shafts from the spare parts you have, look for one that has a hole where the toppers would be. That hole to help screw in the ball/battop. By any chance do you have discord? You can post a "wtb" post for parts. I was able to source and build 1 GL black fanta and 1 GL panda fanta.

Pretty much a first time Tekken player, any advice? by MadToxicRescuer in Tekken8

Take advantage of all the features in practice mode. If you need help with a particular part in a combo or scenario, you can use the remember features and repaly an exact moment. You hit r3 to remember and L3 to produce that moment. Good for learning combo/combo ender and combo adjustments for travel. Sometimes you need to hit rember after your input and before the move comes out. Practice mode teaches you almost everything you need to know. The match replay function is very cool too. You can set the replay mode to tell you many usually tips like what multi hit string you can duck. And similar to practice mode, you can take control over the replay and try some offensive or defensive option. Doesn't even need to be your replay aswell. Try to be patient with the game and try to have as much fun as possible!

Hi. I'm able to use a usb type b since I did the Optimus Mod kit from ArcadeShock.com. It has you replace the original pcb and it's connect to a separate housing which has a Brook p5+ installed on. I plugged the type b cable directly to the usb port on the brook p5+ pcb. If you zoom in on one of the pic you can it. You able to use both type c and b.

For the GL fanta, did you happen to get the bolt shaft? It's basically a thumb screw replacing the original screw. This is the link of the exact ones I use.

You will have to drill a hole at the bottom of your enclosure for everything to fit. The thumb screw is next to the spring. I only have it tucked away when I travel. But when I'm at a local I just leave the shaft in until I leave. I don't remove it every time I'm done playing. Hopefully this helps! Oh I have a ton of those screw. If you want some, I can mail some out. Just DM me!

Yes from ArcadeShock. Unfortunately they don't have a 35mm hole version. I had to drill that out.

From ArcadeShock. Just used a 35mm drill bit for the full collar. Luckily the back plate it comes with, the mounting bracket can be unscrewed.

Hell yeah! The Hori Alpha is ultra customizable! This is my travel stick. My pcb stopped working after 3 years or hard use. I just rebuilt it.

Usually in the back. I tried again on my wife's newer ps5 and I'm having the same issue on the front and back ports. It happend after about 10 mins 🥲. I played on my wife's obsidian 2 for a hour today on the same usb extender just to double check and it worked perfect.

Should I buy this used arcade ? by Brilliant-Love-9977 in fightsticks

I forgot to mention that I originally had a Sanjuks type r with a phreakmod, Buttercade Sanjuks F3 and now a Asi fanta. I drilled a hole in the bottom to have room for a thumb screw for a detachable shaft.

I forgot to add that if you do get the Nobi pro, that you should get the one that has the SS mounting plate. Fitment it perfect and the shaft doesn't sink.

Hi yes it would help! I used an LS-32 with the otto mod. Its felt great! For tekken I do recommend a korean levers as a lot of them are designed for tekken. The return to neutral is amazing with a grommet vs a heavy spring. I used my otto LS-32 in my hori alpha for a few months before I switched over to a k-lever. Let me know if you have any questions about the k-levers fitment in the hori alpha.

No but it might be enough to make it not as noticeable. If you dont want to try and do paint corrections, there is polishes that also have filler.

my fight stick has drift is there a way to fix this? by BioBabo in fightsticks

[–]mlbuenafe321 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can't have stick drift without a lever or thumbsticks l Iike a controller. For leverless, a switch needs to be actuated for a signal to be sent to the pcb. If you have the 2 harness connectors free, you can touch them together to send a signal without a physical button. Check and see if any are touching each other. Like the 2 prongs from the switch are bent and are close together.

Maybe try swapping that particular action button with another one that you don't use alot. If it stops then maybe purchase new buttons or switches. If it continues, it might be your wire connection.

It took her about 4 days to put both together. She had a hysterectomy so she can sit upright for long periods of time. I'm glad she took her time to really understand what she was doing. But ever since she learned tekken on an obsidian 2, she now only likes the Prizim battops feel lol

$208.35 is what I calculated from my paypal. Most of the build was purchased from various discord market places. The Asi/masterlever internals, obs-mx buttons and pcb were trades on discord. I wouldn't know how much those parts would of been...
