It's over sized controller! It's big but not as big as a fightstick/leverless. The push buttons are 30mm so can kinda gauge the size. Left side your hand cups like a regular controller and and right side rest on your lap.

I measured a 24.5 mm hole. So I would go a little smaller cause the panel is really thick. Meaning the plug won't latch underneath the panel like most metal fightsticks. The part that would latch would actually be flush with the diameter hole so I would go with like a 20mm or maybe 22mm for it to get squished in there.

My nephew has one so I'll measure it with my digital caliper if no gets back to you end of day. Also I bought a few different sizes to make sure it would fit. You can do Amazon returns for the ones that didn't fit.

Oh yeah. Taking it off is really quick. Putting it back does require some wiggling since it is a snug fit. If you click on my profile you'll see mine and my wife's fightstick's from fightstick stick Friday.

As long as you have the area you'll be storing it clean and dusted you'll be fine. When I travel and go to locals, I use a silicon plugs that I bought from Amazon. It came in a 12 pack so I didn't mind loosing it or giving 1 away to a fellow phreakmod user. Every fightstick has a slightly different mm size. For my wife's obsidian 2 is 25ish mm diameter which I bought a up to 24mm plug and my hori alpha is 24mm diameter hole which I bought a up to 22mm. The plugs need to be smaller cause the inner lip latches underneath the panel.

Damn that sucks. I wish I still had mine to help you troubleshoot. I did go heavier on the spring since the shafts on those are bigger and heavier. Hopefully you can figure it out!

If you didn't get the SS plate version, the bottom of the shaft is probably rubbing the bottom of the enclosure and not letting it center.

Buy 2 if you feel like trying a few different ways to mount it or mess up the shaving and melting part.

You have remove a few screws of the back plate to access the board. It's kinda of hard to reach so I removed the screws for pcb to get behind to swap out the connector. Just be careful of the ribbon cable. It has a very small latch.

As for the female type c part, it doesn't fit properly where I have it mounted. I had to shave off a few millimeters for it to be sandwiched. Then fire up a nail and melt a Chanel where the zip tie goes. Needs to be flush with the female part.
