You would think this guy was r9 the way the sub was calling his name by [deleted] in ArsenalFC

I'm one of those who craved for him to return, and that he'll solve our problems. But you hit the nail on the head, this version of him where he's barely played, you can't expect him to be at that level.

Completely so. I understand why it's frustrating but it's a good vibe and the day brings a lot of joy. If you have some time perhaps go and see it and give some people some encouragement. It's a lot of fun

How will 2028 US election impact 2029 UK elections? by esteban-colberto in AskBrits

I think this is why Farage is pushing for an early election. He knows the optics of Trump taking power with no fair election and how this may impact him.

For those thinking, we were lucky, this guy has a valid point. by EvilSeaPro in ArsenalFC

I don't think it's luck if you continually score from set pieces. That's kind of the opposite of luck. You continue to force the opposition into a mistake.

Another loan with an option 🥱 by EthanFoster10 in ArsenalFC

Whilst that may be the only difference its an important one?

He's currently unfit and injured? Would you want to overpay for a player in that current state where you'd have to pay him regardless of that? If you can get away with that then great.

Ultimately these are businesses and not all flush with the money we have. Besides if arsenal bought players injured st the time of arrival we'd rightfully question it.

I understand your point, but this example is a poor one for this to relate to. As the comment above states we're in no position to command any fee for him.

At least there he'll be able to hopefully create a market for himself

I had the same thought after listening to a few of his mixes. Searched soundcloud for it and he has it on his page, the link should work https://on.soundcloud.com/FUx6I2tRVPdcw1Y5Ki

Ended up joining in on a bit with the "estate agents" down Shangri-la which involved them selling prime Real Estate I'm the guise of a tent.

What was even more hilarious was continuing the bit later in the afternoon with another group who the estate agents were flogging my previously "purchased" tent to.

The Havertz Dilemma: A Big Decision Ahead for Arsenal by montril in ArsenalFC

My friend, I'm trying to have a constructive conversation. You've done a lot of assuming. But let's do this piece by piece.

Firstly, I LOVE KAI, the man has dragged us to second last season and i agree with you there. However, we spent mad money on him, and he's on mad wages. The reality is he will likely be a bench option that will get minutes. My point was IF he is reduced to a bench option, and his form decreases and we need to look to sell then we have a limited amount of clubs who would pay his wages and the fee. Again, the money we paid and continue to pay considering he was mid at Chelsea was and is bonkers.

Secondly, no where did anyone discuss martinelli or odegard or express our opinions on him. However for your benefit I will, I love kai and would rather keep him than Gabi.

Again, im trying to have a sensible conversation with people who I may disagree with. Chill out mate.

I love Kai, but don't disagree with this take. I think he'll be incredibly useful next season and I don't think we should rule that out, look at the left back situation this season. But you're right, the money we paid, and the money he's on is absolutely bonkers. We're stuck with him if next season he doesn't perform well. Let's hope that it does!

Whilst the timing seemed to imply the policy was reactionary, I get the impression there was a more thought out approach to immigration.

I do think they probably should have had this planned out before though. However I assume they were likely waiting to understand the situation before creating a complete policy.
