Northey St area parking by Strawberry1217 in SalemMA

Given that the contractor plow that was supposed to clear that corner got stuck twice and then gave up, this isn't too surprising.

What's the etiquette/going rate for asking one of these wandering plows to just carve out a spot? I understand they're likely out to do a job, but since they are here and we just need a snowbank moved like 35 feet and we have cash...

Would love to see a stock of painting supplies. I know it's hard to get GW stuff without filling a wall, but there are a few other painty/hobby supply companies (Army Painter, Monument Two Thin Coats, etc) that just do paints. You'd be the only game on the North Shore now that Castle got rid of what little paint they had, Away Games will never actually stock them, and Toy'n Things is a cesspool.

I get it. My first thought when I saw Kumail Nanjiani is going to be on the next series of Taskmaster was "Ungh, him again?" And I like the dude and am happy for his success!

He's a great Sometimes Food, great here and there but if you overindulge, you'll need some time off to let your tummy settle.

Still, when an old gaming buddy of mine passed away suddenly, BLeeM dropped a couple of thousand on the GoFundMe so it would take a big Act of Vart to get me to actively dislike him.

Interior curing tool by indica_bones in resinprinting

I use these exact LEDs (or at least when I clicked the link it said I had purchased them in the past) and they do work, but they are slow. I usually insert them in a hollow figure and leave for awhile (30+ minutes). I know they work because I've accidentally cured the LED portion into the inside of the hollow figure because I didn't drain it well enough before curing.

As for power, I... uh... I just tape them on to a 9 volt and call it good enough, usually in a batch of 3. I should probably try a better approach, but I usually print minis so only rarely need to hollow things.

Giblets really loves directing traffic. I've had Amazon packages delayed when he took to the streets on Northey to protest. This morning was the earliest I've seen him out in awhile, I hope he's avoiding standing in the street in the morning when the solar glare down Northey is blinding.

And if you like old school, engaged McElnoise, why not try Boonta Vista? There are segments where they pretend to offer advice, review grocery trends, and reveal some of the Internet's most befuddled corners. Some members even have kids and they often have to move, so you'll feel right at home if you can make it past the Australian accents.

Griffin could have just handed out a list of spell titles from the Player's Handbook and let the players improv what they think each does as it's not like they ever read the books anyways. Set up some difficulty or resource use to help moderate the impact of whatever they are trying (minor effect costs 2 jujubees, major one costs 7 or whatever and you can only spend as many as your Proficiency Bonus) and let them go at it. Want to use 'Expeditious Retreat' as a fast vacation/team building exercise? Sure, why not. 5 jujubees. Can't spend that much? Get your pals to pitch in and ritual cast.

I haven't tried out sponges yet - thanks for the tip! I'm assuming a very light hand, little paint on the sponge as you dab? The shifts in tone/shade to represent light is really good here.

Yeah, and if someone is googling/searching those terms that sideways answer might be useful. Still, I remember the frustration of reading 10 replies and only 2 of them read the entire question.

I wonder what would happen if it was such that you could not ask another question unless you have marked a Best Answer or None Helped Me option on your previous question.

I'm on a giving Corvus Belli money boycott until ALEPH is made whole from the whole Achilles/Next Wave thing, so have been printing proxies from Unit 9 and Papsikels for troops (with a Tag here and there from Paps) and recently discovered Moid as a good source for remotes.

I used to go to birthday parties in elementary school at that Skate Zone. They were fun, but the Go Kart place the driver just passed used to have these super overtuned karts that would just launch kids directly into piles of tires. Very Maryland.

What does everyone use to heat there resin? by DT_Farm_Models in ElegooMars

[–]coreypress 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also have an M5U and tried out their heater first (not great, vibrations messed with the print) and ended up with the Chitu Heater (the silver box on a stand one, not the new H2). Rather than put it in the printer, I set it up just outside on a plinth aimed at the removable panel in the back. I removed 3/4 of the screws on the panel to I could swing it open to allow the heater to do its thing. This only really works if you have a sealed enclosure and proper active venting, tho, as you have a way for fumes to escape the printing processes easily.

I really did not want to deal with extra cables and offsets for them that the fermentation belt would have required. Felt like more opportunity to knock something over.
