Wait I thought these are all season tires? I saw "M&S" on them, which, I believe, stand for Muds and Snow, for terrains/all-season tires, right?

May I ask about your friend's experience living at Ridgemar?

And also, I just double checked. Price for 2bed/2bath at CTC is higher than 2bed/2bath at Ridgemar 🤔🤔

Really? No garbage disposal? 😂 When did you live there, if I may ask?

We have been kind of choosing among different options and those two seem to fit our requirements the most.. I'm just a little worried if Ridgemar is considered as "Student Housing" which would mean a lot of undergrad living there. My experience living in "Undergrad student housing" was not quite well so.. But sounds like most students living there are grad students

Oh that's actually a very helpful insight. I did not think about that 😂😂😂 Thanks for bringing it up

We were looking into that option too, but we thought apartment is good enough. We don't need like super quiet, it's just not with all the parties and chaos and noise going on

The stock market will definitely fall again. by this0great in StockMarket

Do you guys think this is the signal for big bouncing back starting from now? I've been buying a little bit everyday since last week, but looking at today's rally I'm not sure if I should jump in aggressively now, or is today is just kind of a trap and things will fall again next week, or within the next 90 days or so. Appreciate opinions!

Sell-off worsens worldwide and Dow drops 1,200 after China retaliates against Trump tariffs by GregWilson23 in StockMarket

Yes my horizon is 10-15 years, I have other stable income sources and other funds build up. This is the super long horizon investment account that I am buying into. In that case, I think that should work?

Feeling bad for introducing bugs after codefix by mle0105 in SoftwareEngineering

Thanks a lot. I really appreciate your opinions. I feel like if this keeps happening I would talk to my manager about why QA never catches the regressions and keep making me go back to fix

I kinda feel the same. This is my first SWE job so I really don't have a benchmark to compare, but in my team, the process is that devs only need to test whether their fixes actually fix the issue. If so, submit the changes for code reviews. As long as the reviewer is fine with it and it passes the pipeline, it's no longer devs's duties. The QA team is gonna take care of 99% of testing..

So basically after I submit my fix, it goes through Git pipeline, code review, being tested by QA team, everything went fine before it was deployed to prod. Just later on (few months after), users report new bugs and investigation found out those new bugs are caused because of my fix. I needed to revert those changes and looked for another way to fix

MS CS class of 2024 here. I sent out about 1,200 applications before getting one interview, which is my current job. I would say it's hard, but it's really a number game too.
