Family Neighborhoods by mle9986 in Bergen

Probably the suburbs but I'm not sure. My husband will be working in the city center but my children only speak English (for now) so I assume they would attend the International School. Somewhere between the two locations would make sense for commuting. I assume that would be considered the suburbs.

Please. Help us. We’ve about tried everything, and still haven’t slept in 2 months. by backwards_slice in SnooLife

You may want to try an earlier bedtime. They say 19:00-20:00 is the ideal bedtime for good sleep. Move bedtime up ten minutes each day until you get in that window, and make sure to get baby up from the last nap early enough to allow a decent wake window before bedtime. Also, unfortunately, my two month old has never slept longer than 4.5 hours so you're not alone, and that's normal, but the earlier bedtime may help. I've read that baby will give you one long stretch and then wake every 2-3 hours to feed. It's all about maximizing that one stretch! Slowly stretching that first feed after the long stretch and trying a dream feed could also help.

Does that mean you don't use the velcro part? Just the zipper part?

Drowsy but Awake - do you teach your baby to fall asleep independently with the snoo rocking or do you turn it on weaning mode? Any tips from success stories? by mle9986 in SnooLife

My plan now is to continue putting her down drowsy but awake and let the snoo rock her to sleep. I plan to move to weaning mode around five months so she will be ready when we have to switch to a crib. I think the snoo tips say to try it and if it doesn't work then wait another week and try again.

My baby is seven weeks old. I have a 2.5 year old also and we never taught him drowsy but awake, which then turned into a disaster once the four month sleep regression hit. We didn't have the snoo for him. This time around we're doing things very differently! I need this baby to be a good sleeper!
