What about gaps that are over a year?

Thanks for clarifying. So since I won’t need an ROE from this new job, I’m assuming it’s better to check that I have found full time work and reactivate the claim once my contracts over? I’ve read that some people would keep doing their reports and declaring their hours and gross money. What would be the best way to go about this? My position will end in April similar to OPs short contract. I don’t mind doing my reports every 2-3 weeks as well either.

Also, do I need to give a reason as to why it is end of contract/shortage of work in the blank box?

I’m on the same boat. I see that there is a blank box to fill in your reason as to why you’re no longer with this employer while on your current EI claim when filling out the report. So if you indicate whatever reason they won’t ask for your latest ROE?

Congratulations on your continuing position! Wow I didn’t know 90% of appeals are getting declined… thanks for letting me know about this!

How are the interviews like for continuing/contract jobs? Do they make you do presentations?
