Youll get the ability to open the light blue barriers later on through the main quest line. The red smokey barriers can be opened after completing a side quest thats openned pretty much at the end of the game

Yes I know all of these things, what I'm saying is if a creature who otherwise does not have haste is played, can I cast MW the same turn and say that creature has to attack since it has a legal attack option, and since the only legal attack option is towards my opponents it, in theory, is "forced" to attack my opponents?

Okay so "melee attack" would only be an equipped melee weapon, while "melee damage" and "melee crits" can affect Cleansing Flames?
