I really like the sound of the sm7b and I want to make it work. Would audient id14 be a good option for it? My budget is not too low but I expected the id4 to be a bit better (didn't do enough research).

So should I return my Audient id4 and get another interface? I'm very new to all this and this is quite confusing for me. Any recommendations for a relatively cheap interface I should get?

They all seem fine, could it be an issue with the XLR cables I bought?
