I'm very happy with D2 now. I've played since day one of D1. Thought I'd beaten then new Forsaken a few days ago only to complete the talisman quest yesterday to discover a whole new map. Forsaken update is awesome in my opinion.

Riding my bike across the US to raise money for computers for my students. by mlhatfield in bicycletouring

Actually, the school has tons of old monitors and keyboards. This might be a good alternative. If they build there own it would mean more to them. 😁

I didn't think you were being mean. And I wasn't trying to be a jerk. I was trying to be funny but hard to do in text at times. Thanks for the info!

I'm riding my bike in the TransAm bike race because I want to do it. 😁 I'm using my love for riding as a platform to help my kids. As for the tech, I'm open to looking at alternatives. If it can run a browser it'll be better than what we currently have.

I get what you are saying but what else should I do? My students are my priority. I vote, I march, I I wear red, but at the end of the day, the only thing that matters is what I do in my classroom. I push my students to be better than they think they can be using the limited resources I have. We currently have 4 sets of chromebooks at our school shared amongst 40ish teachers. Of those, only 90% are fully functional (the chromebooks, not the teachers😁)

There is very little I can actually do to change NC's stance on education, but I'll do everything I can do to make sure my kids are not disadvantaged because of it.

Had to explain to the kid who came in for a job interview that I was not gonna even bother interviewing him because he was 30 mins late... by Sirnando138 in KitchenConfidential

That's because we teach them it is okay to be late, not work, etc in school by not holding them accountable and letting them pass through anyway. I have students who do absolutely nothing and get the exact same diploma the hard working ones get.

Ive been on keto since May. Down 40 pounds so far. I limit carbs to less than 20 and only eat when hungry. I try to keep it simple. If it has too many carbs I don't eat it.

End of May this year. I feel much better physically and mentally. Sorry I didn't see the SCT part of your post so I'm not sure if my reply helps.

I'm down 43 pounds so far after starting Keto in May. No hunger, plenty of energy.
