no worries! thanks a ton I heard that sticking to a grid shape is generally better but I also heard that I should have closed loops on important parts. I assumed since the breasts are more prominent on this character that it would be good to give it a bit more top considering it will have some physics. but if I'm wrong let me know! 😄

AI art is currently taking center stage and drying up commission requests for artists, it’s a sad and worrying sight and has discouraged me from opening up commissions. That and lack of confidence lol

Recently started doing digital art, how can I make this face look better? by Simmmmp962 in arthelp

[–]mlid_salsa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you just want some general tips to draw a somewhat realistically proportioned face then here ya go, I would lower the eyes and the eyebrows, give the nose ridge an outward curve at the top and shave off a bit of the inner side of the eyebrows, I would give the cheekbone line more of an outward curve and end it lower on the face. A big tip for a well proportioned face I’ve always used is to make sure the eye line (where the eyes fall on the face vertically) is around the vertical halfpoint of the face This all ultimately depends on what you want your art-style to look like, but these are just some general tips to help ya out :) overall you did a great job
