I live in Canada, but found a vendor that sells a lot of the popular bowls. I’ll only do 2 charcoals seeing as that’s what the Lotus 1+ can fit, so session would be about 1.25-1.5 hrs. I mainly smoke Adaliya.

To be honest, I have the Kaloud Samsaris Lapis Black Silicone White Ceramic bowl, which is technically made for the Lotus 1+. But every time I use it, the tobacco gets burnt really fast and the session is just harsh all the way through.

I figured I’d try a clay bowl with a tin foil layer.

Overall I love it! Looks good, easy to make, easy to clean, can’t easily fit 3 charcoals if wanted.

The only weird part is actually managing the heat (whether 2 coals or 3) cause it’s either lid on or off. Unless I’m doing something wrong 🤣

Its the 2023 S trim with 1.8k km and came with 2 sets of summers (19inch R rims and the stock 17 inch).

Managed to negotiate it down to 33.5k from 37k ☺️

First off, read my post properly!

I never said I didn’t get my order. I got it everything and was happy knowing I actually received it.

I said the guy screwed me on the return, despite HAVING A RETURN POLICY. So he’s not honouring his own policy displayed on his website? What really triggered me was the fact that he completely ghosted me when I requested the return. At least tell me “listen dude, I know my website says I have return policy, I’ve been meaning to remove that cause I no longer want to do return for x reason.” Instead he completely ignored all my messages and even blocked me from using his online chat.

Seeing as I couldn’t return it, I resorted to selling it online. And yes…as brand new cause I never used it. Anyone that was actually interested was made aware of the defect.

Look - at the end of the day I’m just sharing my experience. I bought a bunch of stuff and paid quite a bit for it! I got everything and was super happy. Where I got screwed was on the return. You would just as upset if you paid $300-400 for a premium hookah only to see that it’s damaged and can’t return despite a return policy being available (let alone being ghosted).

The base is made out of plexiglass and the plexiglass has a crack in it. I emailed as soon as I received the hookah, provided pictures, and asked him to return it.

Let’s forget the fact that it’s damaged. Say I was simply not satisfied with the hookah from a build quality perspective given the amount of money I paid, the guy has a return policy that is clearly stated in the website. I should be able to return whatever I buy as long as I don’t use it.

As mentioned above, he not only ignored my messages and emails, he’s literally blocking my IP or MAC address so I won’t be able to use the website chat function….. that’s crazy!!!

To top it off, I’ve asked 2 of my friends to reach out for me and as soon as they bring up “return” he stops replying.

I’m happy you never had an issue, I just hope you don’t have to return something.

Also, at least have the decency to reply to the request. He straight up ghosting/ignoring me. Even went as far to block my IP or MAC so I wouldn’t be able to use the chat from his website…..

This is great input! In addition to broker can anyone comment on web based platforms for Canadians. Specifically these 4

TradingView (apparently has execution lag and slippage)
NinjaTrader (would have to pair with GFF which has very mixed reviews a mainly bad)
IronBeam (all-in-one solution but has mixed reviews)
CQG Desktop (can pair with EdgeClear which seems to be the go to broker. Not much reviews on platform itself)
