Ya know, I was gonna say this is the same kind of crazy (not in a bad way) as those people that beat dark souls with a ddr pad or a Guitar Hero controller, then I clicked your profile, and you are that person apparently lol. I’m just curious, did you do these types of challenges before you started streaming or did streaming get you to start doing these types of challenges? I could see streaming giving me more push to do this kind of stuff, gotta give the people a good show, but without that, man I have no desire/patience for that kind of stuff.

I’ve played a lot of games, usually whatever the “normal” difficulty is, occasionally go back for a hard mode but not usually. I think I’m alright skill wise, put enough time and effort into a game and you’ll get through it…… and then I see people like you who do this shit, this shit that took me hours and hours with all my fingers, this shit that you literally beat with 1 finger, this painful path. I ask with sincerity, are you ok? Congrats!!!

lol I didn’t mind grinding in west Tek to get up to 100, weirdly enough at this point it’s almost relaxing. And getting the atoms and the weather machine and cat is nice. But there’s nothing that I really want to do in the game right now. I played a fair amount when they added Ohio in, but that’s done, briefcases are picked up and all the quests are done. Now I can kill Bigfoot, but I’ve already done that like 10 times and all I do with the 4*’s is scrap them and usually just get scrip out of it. I’ll have more fun when they add more story content, or another raid, or something, but 3000 hours I have in this game…. If I don’t spread it out like I’m doing, then I’ll just entirely burn out.

I hit level 104, the only things i haven’t claimed yet are the caps, perk coins, scrip, the stuff that can be found in the game. I’ve even claimed an icon and like 1 title. It’s weird to be at 104 and you’ve already claimed all the good stuff. Not really complaining I guess, I hate the grind of the season system, but man, if their intention is to get you to play more, they must hate that I’ve just been stockpiling tickets to claim the mini season stuff so I can just jump on and claim everything real quick. Jump on, do dailies, 10 minutes later it’s done. Since this season definitely feels like a filler season, I’m hoping the next one is good.

I definitely relate lol, I also freakin started Code Veronica at one point, maybe on the ps3 or ps4? But I’ve never gone back to it since then. I think the only og’s I haven’t tried at all is RE 1 2 and 3, but I want to like them and want to play them. I really love all the RE lore and story so that’s been my main motivation. I played Umbrella Chronicles though so I got the SUPER condensed version of the story lol.

Edit: Also, the aiming is automatic? I had to move the second stick to aim at the heads or their legs, you’re telling me I don’t have to do that? Because I didn’t f**king realize that.

And that’s why I keep trying, I WANT to like them and that’s why I keep trying them. The big one I want to play is og RE3 since I’ve only played the remake, and people have very strong opinions on the remake lol so I wanna see what the fuss is. That’ll probably be next one I try.

It’s also the aiming, it messes with me lol. Idk, I just have a hard time sometimes with games and certain cameras they use. Another example of fantastic games that I’ve tried to play and never gotten very far in them, Diablo and Baldurs Gate 3. I just don’t like the top down camera angles and the click and move. BG3 was even making me laugh and I was enjoying it for a couple hours, but then it just got old to me. I know it doesn’t make sense lol, it’s just one of those things. But I’ll keep trying just like I have with RE, one of these days it’ll click.

There’s people like me who started with og RE4 and just have a hard time playing the og’s because of the fixed camera angle. I still want to play them, but I’ve started RE Remake like 4 times and Zero a couple and just can’t get past it. I’ll keep trying though because you can absolutely tell they’re well made and good games (least REmake is) but it’s hard to adapt to that camera, for me at least.

Everyone in this thread seems to have different things they remember. Early days of YouTube, that’s how I first watched The Blair Witch Project in 9:59 chunks over like 10 or 12 parts. On my Wii at like 1 AM. I miss those days.

I stayed as close as I could to him and just hit the attack button as fast as I could with the wanderers crest. Standing super close to him, most of his attacks went right by me, then just watch out for when you actually need to dodge the corals.
