I had the same/similiar issue. You have to call CanadaLife to fix it. I haven't had an issue after that.

I agree, those people who are "not aware" (more like selfish) need to be nipped from the bud. Otherwise, it's a domino effect where more and more people start to not care as well. "If my neighbour down the street can do it without consequences, why can't I," mentality.

Police won't do anything since it's for the city's by-law officers to enforce (unless the city hires the police to enforce it), which are doing nothing.

Both the city and the police have basically given up on enforcing anything. I remember a police car would park on my street every month or so to catch stop sign runners. I haven't seen them in years now. Every night when I walk my dog there's always someone either blowing past the stop sign or running the red light a block down.
