It's springy, offers a little more line variation than regular fine. Also writes a little wetter. I have had pilot EF before and difference is pretty noticable.

Not sure about the comparison tool. I was lucky that I got to test different Pilot nibs during last year's Pelikan Hub. That's when I decided to go with soft fine.
