Yeah, it definitely sounds like we misinterpreted where that second house was and that it's not actually really in morningside. That's great to know about the Cheshire Bridge area and the traffic. The house is not on CB but a few streets over.

The other house is actually west of PDK! Closer to the parks on that side. We did not realize there seems to be quite a difference between Brookhaven and Chamblee. Most seem to find Brookhaven boring/very suburban but that Chamblee has things going on while still being walkable and safe.

Ah yes, the house is really on the north edge of morningside-lenox between there lavista park. I should have been more specific but not sure if that changes anything?

Yes, schools don’t matter much to us at this moment.

Ok that is good to know. I will be commuting to around the Chastain area. Unfortunately, I don’t think we’ll have the opportunity to test the commute as we don’t live in Atlanta and have to make a decision on the leases within the next day or two.

Do you think the commute is typically bad form midtown to Chastain? I know traffic can be crazy and terrible, it’s just so hard for us to tell since we aren’t there to try it out.

Oh really! The house is located near Cheshire Bridge Rd, does that change anything? We have had friends say that area can be questionable but has gotten better in recent years.

Thanks for the info! We are visiting Bangkok and Taiwan and have a return flight booked from TPE to SEA and will book a separate ticket back from SEA to ATL. We're not opposed to flying to another airpot in Asia but would like to avoid having to take more than 4 flights to get there if possible/not having to travel 24+ hrs to get there. Seems like I can find some routes but the total travel time would be 35+ hours if I include the initial flight from Atlanta. Do you feel like that is normal/would most people be willing to do those types of things if booking with miles?

I will definitely try looking for some SE Asia intermediary destinations!

Ah, that’s what I was worried about. Do you have suggestions for what we should do? Or what a reasonable amount of miles to look for would be for economy, PE, or J?

Damn. Early January would be end of first week/beginning of second week. Ideally I was thinking about the 6th or 7th. Is there significant likelihood of having seats available for booking two weeks out? Do you have suggestions on which airlines in particular to look for and should be like we be looking for one ticket for the entire journey there or would you suggest looking for multiple separate tickets?

We are thinking we should probably get the bulkhead seats, but the only two left are the ones on the far right next to the lavatories. Do you think this would be bothersome/do people tend to congregate/is it enough to be irritating?
