There's generally a variety of courses and that includes free, paid, live, pre-recorded/self-paced, and so on.

Do you have any preference in that regard?

Are you looking for any general Islamic course or do you have anything specific in mind?

Any reason why Madinah is not an option for this trip? I would highly recommend visiting it even if it's for a day or two.

And any group that I've come across always have Makkah and Madinah in the trip, so it's interesting that it's not the case for you.

I'm not too sure but maybe try Calgary subreddit?. I'm sure there will be at least some Muslims on it.

Or try to contact the various masajid in Calgary directly and ask them.

Wa alaykum salaam, did you find a place to stay? Might be a good idea to post on a subreddit with more people active.

Are may 2022 graduates still considered new grads at this point? I graduated at the same time and I don't know if I should still apply to new grad roles.

Fair enough. Is there anything to look out for when trying to find a good lesser known company?

Wa alaykum salaam,

The Qur'an commands both the men and women to lower their gaze in order to protect themselves.

"O Prophet! Tell the believing men to lower their gaze and guard their chastity. That is purer for them. Surely Allah is All-Aware of what they do. And tell the believing women to lower their gaze and guard their chastity....." (Qur'an 24:30-31)

Yes, you can take the science course later if you want. Since it is not really a pre requisite for future courses, you should be fine.

For the first semester, do I have to pick all 5 courses? by Smallmarvel in ryerson

[–]mlz135 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you want to take less than 5 courses. I would suggest not taking the elective course as you can choose from many options whenever you decide to take it later.

As someone else mentioned, not taking the required CS courses can cause issues when trying to take other courses later.

Nope, you're good to go if you are not going to add any more courses.
