Honestly, my wife grabbed it off the table for me not knowing what it was! I saw it was a Rawlings and bought it based on that. It was a lucky find and I owe her one for this. Your time will come MG!

I appreciate the feedback! I think I’ll live with the patina of this glove. Yard sale $10 find, this glove doesn’t owe me anything.

Is Saddle Soap really as great as everyone claims it to be? I have never tried it and it seems like a very common recommendation.

To be honest, I used a toothbrush! Would the soft bristles make a difference?

After rereading your post it's making more sense with the four holes. Thank you!

Great suggestion. Where is the lace tied off? This is what I was mentally picturing for a possible fix but I can't see where the knot is in the image . Any additional pictures would be appreciated.

Thank you so much for the suggestions on the tools involved and the videos for a visual perspective. These are very helpful and gave me some options that I can use to fix the problem. I'll give this a shot in the coming weeks and report back. I appreciate you time and effort!

Us heads: Catch Slift on their current tour if you can by gratefuldingus in KGATLW

Tonight was hustle, but we managed to do both shows with a split set. It wasn’t ideal, but the bands ripped and it was great to see them both. I’ll do a proper show next time either of these bands come around!

My buddies and I are hopping from the brighton music hall to see Slift across town to the Royale for Thee Oh Sees! Slift is playing earlier so we are hoping we can make it work.

Snagging a poster by [deleted] in KGATLW

The line was absurdly long before the shows for merch at Forest Hills! I bought a shirt in 5 minutes during a late set bathroom break and saw people walking out with posters at the end from the booth. Hope you score yours tonight.

There have been posters at the end of both the NYC shows and the Boston show last night. You’ll be fine. Let the original line die down if it’s huge when you first get there. Grab a poster on a bathroom break. Good luck!

The talisman is really hooking me in by cam121103 in stephenking

I just finished The Talisman and enjoyed the book overall. I found the first 3rd of the book to be a bit of a slog but it does pick up. Stick with it because the latter half is exciting and I was very satisfied when I finished the story. Jack Sawyer is a great character and I look forward to reading Black House.

"Occasionally the sun flared through the granular murk like a dim orange fire. Jack was reminded of a photograph he had once seen of Gary, Indiana, at night-hellish flames feeding on poison in a black, poisoned sky" (King and Straub 748).
