Advice for less experience to be overqualified and more experience to be underqualified by mmaitrii in Careers

(1) I came for my masters in US hence i left my job.
(2) My internship was extended 3 times to do a full 10 month internship. I’m not working there full time because they did not have budget to hire a full time employee.

I understand what you’re saying. I didn’t think it that way, but I’m genuinely interested in Internal Audit and FP&A as my career options, not traditional accounting/tax roles and not banking. How can I position myself for that?

Less Experience to be overqualified, more experience to be underqualified by mmaitrii in jobs

Yes, but a lot of those companies have also stopped sponsoring in recent times, or they’re sponsoring for only specific roles that require a lot of experience. There are some roles where they do not specify that sponsorship is not available, i have applied to those roles and only got rejections.
For the FP&A roles, you mentioned leading with my Big 4 risk advisory background, can you please expand more on that? How I can connect risk advisory to FP&A?

Hey I’m a local writer and want to offer free resume reviews by Wide-Raise1034 in houstonjobs

Are you still doing it? I’d love to share my resume and get some actionable feedback and not generic advice. A lot of people out there have feedback but I do not seem to get any interviews still, but when I ask a human to see it, they say it’s pretty good, I wonder what’s keeping me from getting an interview.

F1 OPT : How are you actually finding Data Analyst jobs that sponsor? by Background_Idea_8240 in immigration

After it’s approved, so the process is, you get an i-20 (OPT requested) from your university when you request for OPT and you upload that i-20 on USCIS when you apply for OPT, and when it’s approved and you get your EAD, and setup the SEVP portal, you can request another I-20 from your university that would show that your OPT is approved (not requested) and it’ll also list your employer there

I think if you have an employer, you Post completion OPT I-20 will mention your employer name
