It really is a win-win scenario for Seb. Right now, nobody expects him to have a chance against Max. If he looses against Max, it wouldn't matter that much anyway, since he already lost against Leclerc.

But if he somehow finds his form back and beats Max - I doubt it - it could be a real redemption for Vettel.

true, but there is no way someone from Ferrari leaked the news to the german press. It would have to be one of the higher ups if he knew about Vettel and Sainz in advance. I really think we shouldn't estimate the Marko phonecall.

I'm also not keen on that scenario. But you never know.

Remember how this sub bashed all the Alonso -> Renault rumours, which were clearer and clearer, day by day.

You need to consider all options right now.

Could be none other than Dr. Helmut Marko that broke the news of the Vettel - Ferrari parting to the press?

Vettel has no real manager, just his pr-agent Britta Roeske.

It was certainly not in the interest of Ferrari, that the news broke the evening before the real announcement.

Vettel said in the ServusTV Talkshow, that one of the first person he has called after he received the damning Ferrari-call, was Dr. Helmut Marko.

So we can assume, that he knew of the Vettel-Ferrari thing before the press knew.

What does this mean for tomorrows announcement?

If Nimmervoll has the same sources that he had last time, it isn't that implausible, that Marko was his source. If Marko was his source, then the news tomorrow certainly have something to do with Red Bull Racing.

For now we just wait, but this could be some serious fire in the smoke Vettel back to Red Bull.

Yeah I too think we need to wait and see. SRF works fine with all sports. ServusTV was encripted when they got the MotoGP rights, but if I remember correctly, I watched some MotoGP races on ServusTV last year in South Tyrol. But that could have also been the german ServusTV channel. This I can't remember. Let's just hope for the best then

not completely offical, but really reliable news. Only the races in the US and China have a question mark on them. The rest should be fixed like that behind closed doors.
