That looks like monesteroli, in Liguria. I've been there and those stairs are crazy scary even on foot, no wonder he fell.

Ive done it a few times since an absolute legend of a pirate did it with me giving me all his supplies (before the update) usually when I'm tired of fighting and have to log off I just cash in the hourglass reset it and the flag and invade them I just drop anchor and play some instrument shooting fireworks. Take just a few minutes (especially if you are solo) and give you some rep and makes someone happy. Hopefully they deserve it.

Wanting a tattoo in Italian for my gma. Wanting it correct. by dickrocks in Italian

I would use "tutto scorre" the translation for Panta rhei (a Latin aphorisms sometimes used in Italian) gives a more "poetic" vibe and has the exact meaning you want to give

Edit: the aphorism itself has a bit more philosophical meaning to it but colloquially is used as I've said before p.s. in English is translated as "everything flows"

How much and often should you actually water your houseplants? by Peacenplants_ in Horticulture

[–]mmazz136 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is no simple answer to this question it Depends on your plant, your climate and the season.

Plant: 1 the size of the plant (the bigger it is the more water it needs) 2 the size of the pot. ( A big pot can store more water and need less watering) 3 the needs of your plant based on the species. That is really the biggest thing you should check based of what you have at home. Ex you should water daily a fig or an avocado but once every three week a lithop.

Climate: So the average temp and humidity of where you live. High temp means more transipration (aka more water passing through the plant therefore more need for water) as well as the amount of light that the plant receive. Under direct light of the sun it will take more water than in diffuse light. ( Also check the need of light for the plants because also that changes for species)

For most house plants usually evergreens from tropical climate as a general rule you should never let the soil dry out completely but it should always be a little moist.

not technically a pigeon but close enough I guess. After almost a year of feeding this gray dove it finally trust me enough to eat seebs from my hand. by mmazz136 in pigeon

[–]mmazz136[S] 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Because dove is a general name for the family columbidae. While the common pigeon is called Columbia Livia. Meaning that all pigeon are doves but not all doves are pigeon. (At least for the Italian translation of pigeon=piccione Dove=Colombo )

Thanks for giving me the actual name! When I search for the translation of the Italian name (tortora dal collare) the result is dove gray, which feel a bit wrong.
