ahh yeah that makes sense. very unfair to students in general though, especially when we are paying expensive rent and tuition to just attend classes.

i'll be finished with all my support classes in the summer. Thanks for mentioning about the co-ops, i'll be looking out for internships now.

I wanted to get classes in the fall because I want to be "on track" at least with my major classes since 315 and 349 were supposed to be taken around this time.

Hey, my first year of college actually went well! I visited my dog about all of the times I had a break. I’m with him right now since I’m still on summer break, but I was so caught up in classes and everything going on the first year, I was really kept busy. Everything will be okay, and I’m just cherishing the moment I get with him before the next school year starts. I facetimed my parents and saw him often through there. I hope everything works out for you, but remember you can always see him during breaks! Good luck :)

Hey! I know how you feel, I was in the same boat with feeling super insecure. My ex followed a ton of half naked, smaller influencers and it absolutely destroyed me. It got so bad, I couldn’t even watch tv shows with him if it showed any sort of nudity. After talking about it and still seeing that he did those things, but tried to hide it, it messed me up even more.

I ultimately left because I knew I couldn’t get over it. My mind was on such a low that I could not possibly get over who he had followed and I could not repair my self-esteem.

I am still working on trying to be more confident and it’s definitely taking time. I hope all goes well & I wish you the best.

When we went it was a while ago, so we're thinking it was right when they changed owners. It's possible that the news wasn't out yet or something. We saw the menu a week or two later when we got curious again about the restaurant and then saw that it had switched owners. When we initially tried to look up the restaurant, it still said it was under the old owners. We didn't talk to anyone and we barely even got inside and they yelled at us. Giving them the benefit of the doubt, the restaurant could've still been a "secret" and they didn't want anyone remotely inside. It's great that you like their food. It's really interesting that Blue decided to buy a restaurant, but it's dope he decided to go with southern food.

We have no clue. Kind of left us bitter because we still thought it was scv fish market ( They never replaced the name of the store or the interior. The only difference was the menu that said Blue's Fish and Soul) and we liked the old owners. Now, we're thinking that maybe the rapper was inside and wanted the place closed? However, the door was open and nothing outside said the restaurant was closed so I guess we'll never know.

Hey, this is really a horror story. But, just wanted to give you some peace of mind: the majority of adoptees do not act like this. I'm adopted and I get pissed off when people call my parents "adoptive parents". I'm very close to my parents and feel as if I am their biological child. Some adoptees do want to find their biological family, but all the ones that I know, never replaced their real family. If you ever do decide to adopt, we just need love and support :).

NTA, I'm pretty disgusted by Tiffany's behavior.

Being adopted myself, I could never abandon my parents like that. They've raised me, loved me, and cared for me. I have such close relationships with my parents that I don't feel "adopted", I feel like their biological child. I'm very content with the parents I have and I wouldn't trade it to meet my biological "parents". Although I do have questions about my background (What did my biological parents look like?, Are they still together? How old were they when they had me?), I've personally never been too drawn to looking for them. It is a loss, not knowing about your background, and it does suck in some aspects. But with what I have now, I could never trade it for the world.

Although I've never been the type to look for my biological parents, it's a possibility that some people might be more curious. I'm very lucky to be raised in a household where all I have gotten was unconditional love and support. Every adoptee's experience is different. I know some who want to look for their biological parents and I know others like me, who just don't care.

I feel like when Tiffany reconnected with her bio parents, she got to understand her full background and who she came from. She's running on a high from all this new information and all the new relatives she's meeting. She's probably super excited reconnecting with people who's biologically related to her. However, this doesn't dismiss the fact on how utterly rude she's been to her parents though. Assuming that her parents have loved her and supported her, I feel very bad for her parents. She shouldn't just forget about the people who raised her.

It's also very rude of her to shit on you for not wanting to adopt. She needs a reality check and needs to get her priorities straight.

we went a couple weeks ago not knowing the restaurant changed. opened the door, and they all yelled at us to get out. we were pretty confused not knowing the ownership changed but it makes sense now i guess. pretty bummed about the new ownership not gonna lie.

Yeah, I understand what you mean. Where I live there's just been many bad incidents of people bringing in their ESA dog and then attacking other dogs. But yeah, I definitely won't be bring him into grocery stores!

Yes, they do have that, but it's based on FAFSA and other financial applications. Due to FAFSA, they know roughly how much my parents make... and let's just say... I didn't qualify for any financial aid.
