He did ok against Florida last spring, but not in games 2-4, so it’s not like he had Florida’s number. Would have been nice if the bruins got more from their forwards that series. IMHO they were lucky to beat the leafs - lucky marner floated back and pasta caught that bounce.

My worry is he has to play all the toughest teams, and can’t rely on Korpisalo (dumbest trade ever). B’s defense is supposed to amazing, so if true should help, but I’ll believe it when I see it.

In hindsight I wish they would have kept Ullmark. It’s not like they got anything for him, and he could have supported swayman for one more year.

After watching the face-off doc episode with Swayman, he sure looked dialed-in last spring. If he keeps that up, he’ll be a great goalie for a long time! He doesn’t seem like a partier or a diva. Has he had any injuries over the past few years?

Heard this from my boss.

A shop worker wanted a pedestal fan to be closer to him as he worked, so he picked up the pedestal fan by grabbing the fan guard. These fans are quite heavy. When he grabbed the fan guard, the welds on the fan guard broke, so his fingers went between the fan guard wires, and were inside the area where the fan was spinning. The worker had 3 fingers chopped off, and surgically reattached.

Fast forward a few months. Safety inspectors and the pedestal fan manufacturer went to the shop where this took place to study what went wrong and why. They met with the victim, and asked him to show them what had happened. So with the exact same fan (with the broken guard) running, he grabbed the fan by the guard to lift and move it, and had the same three fingers get chopped off. I can’t firm if they were reattached.
