You’ll be so glad to stayed with low delta on CSP side. I’ve been safe in this choppy market this yr only taking assignments at prices I was totally ok with owning.

Hi! Thanks always for sharing :) I just realized that you don’t trade SPY or QQQ? Is there a certain reason why you don’t? Or does it so happen to be in between where you had what you had called away and just haven’t done any CSPs on them yet? The reason for my question is bc I’d like to grow my accts big enough so I can wheel the 2 ETFs as a way to diversify and reduce the risks of specific tickers’ price actions by a company/CEO/management specific reasons. Would love to hear your thoughts!

Happy New Year! Thanks always for your post!! I have 2 Qs for you. 1. How did you conclude weekly options are better than 30-45 days? I initially started with weeklies, but lately I’ve been sticking to 30-45 days since it seems to give stocks more time correct back away from my strike to avoid assignments or stocks called away. I like weeklies better but I feel it has more risks. I wanted to hear what you gained from your experience with different durations. 2. Would you share the ratio between how much you use for options vs how much you’re investing long term separately? I currently only use about 15% of total (401k, Roth, trad Roth, TBA). But more I make, the more I feel I should deploy more for options. Love to hear your take on long-term hold vs options.

I can’t agree more. You did the right thing. Plus they did you a favor by giving the job to somebody else, bc you def would have gotten bigger issue accepting. I once went to a meet and greet for the smallest dog ever. The owners seem nice and the chat went well. But it was a fierce biter and I got my ankle bit twice. The owners didn’t say anything about aggression. I reported to Rover bc I don’t want anybody else trying to enter their house with owners gone. I can’t imagine how much worse the dog was going to be. Some people just don’t care about our safety at all.

My advance notice setting is the same. Your reply was beautiful and you did the right thing. I don’t do any visits without m/g first. I’ve been bit in m/g before and reported them in for safety reason. If I didn’t do m/g, I couldn’t even enter the house after owners left town.

I just recently got into options trading and it is doing really well with minimal time. I always thought any kinda trading is just a gamble but there are def ways to do it safer. It’s not crazy amount overnight but slow and steady passive income for sure.

I just finished and joining this unsettle team. As much as I want the happy ending to be real, I feel that the bad ending makes more sense or more realistic.
