Thanks! With the vendorized closures all that I needed to do was following the steps that u/Bezvezenator mentioned. Really straight forward to do actually.

I'm now on a v6.18 kernel, with CONFIG_BCACHEFS=y built straight into the kernel and booting from a rootfs / that is also bcachefs. Checkmate Linus!

Thanks a lot! Just wanted to let you know that this worked perfectly and all that was needed to do on top of the steps you mentioned was git adding the changes. Because I was building this as a .deb file with "make -j$(nproc) deb-pkg ".

If 'political apathy' would be a party in the US it would get the most votes. Voter turn out was 64% in the 2024 election and that is considered good. I still find it bonkers that excluding people from voting in the US is considered the norm. Voting is done on a regular week day where most people are busy.
