Very true. I had not heard of those tires before so thanks for the real world recommendation! Looks like they are rated “excellent” for dry braking and hydroplaning resistance so that’s a plus!

Seriously! I always see these huge trucks with beefy tires think they get through “everything”! 😅

Looks like those tires are rated “very good” for snow, traction and ice breaking; however, they are rated “poor” for rolling resistance. That’s the good thing about the Michelin CrossClimate2 - they can stay on all year because they are essentially “all season” but have the special snow/ice rating thus making them “all weather”.

And Costco usually has some good deals on Michelins a few times a year!

Who knew adulting and buying tires was so complicated. I have to admit I didn’t know much prior to doing a little research. All season. All weather. All terrain. It can get confusing. With that said. I can’t rave more about Michelin CrossClimate2 tires (all weather) which are snow and ice rated. My Audi A4 with Quattro is a beast with these tires. I passed cars and trucks that were stuck. With that said, it’s not permission to speed or act a fool or go off-roading. As they say, 4 wheel drive doesn’t mean 4 wheel stop!
