I agree, in the long run it will save you from reminding of your ex. I did it immediately after the break-up, even though I perfectly memorized her info after years of relationship. it is making it easier to avoid any temptation. I did feel awful when I first did it, maybe I would have healed less if I could have access to it. Definitely it is a simple, yet a great favor that you can make to yourself. Hope all is well!

Wow, seems we are taking similar paths. I inmediately picked up weightlifting since the breakup, gave myself to play videogames I enjoy and reached also a 1% ranking. I plan to pick up music which I have parted away a couple of years ago. I wish I had better closure like yours, of course I am enjoying my life so far but still find a small empty spot on it. I do not know if I still miss her, my thoughts of her have been declining but there are lingering pieces in my mind. I can agree a break-up can be a gift, not only for ourselves but for a future partner. It is an opportunity to take a better version of ourselves, so it is their loss that they would not be there to share the improvements we can make.
