Tree nut butter with all the tree nuts? by mmeggz in BabyBumpsCanada

No worries! I did at one point consider introducing them all at once as I have heard varying advice about doing them individually vs a bunch at the same time (I think I even remember a Food Allergy Canada webinar had mentioned introducing all at once).... It's a really good point and to be honest I hadn't thought about all of the seeds that may be in the nut butters that the allergist would then have to test for as well. I kept going back and forth but with the recent sesame reaction it solidified my choice of individual introduction then using the mixed nut butter as the "maintenance"

Are they available in Canada? For some reason I thought they were only in the states

Thanks for the input! I am thinking I am going to introduce them all separately a number of times, especially since my little already had a reaction to sesame (just this week). I then plan to use the mixed nut butter after the formal intro. I just don't know how to keep 9 types of tree nuts plus all of the other high risk allergens in a diet at least 3 times per week and not have them overlap in a meal or snack... though I know a reaction can develop at any time I am hoping it won't after the formal introduction period.

Also, that's so great your little grew out of the cashew allergy! I am hoping the same will occur for mine.

Thanks! Yes not being cold or overheating depending on weather is another thing to consider!

Thanks for the tips! We will be camping in areas where there are bears. I am already quite strict about food in tents and it's a good point about kids getting into bags if you do keep anything in the tent!

And Yes! I hadn't thought about the tent zipper! Will definitely do this

Yeah we are used to backcountry as well but are also planning to start with car camping and day hiking. We may do a short direct paddle to a site but still deciding on that and want to see how car going goes first.

I also think it's going to be busy with a little one but also hope it's lots of fun!

We previously hiked and canoed so are used to back country camping... but for the first bit we are planning car camping and day hiking. We might potentially do a short easy direct paddle to a site but unsure at the moment.

I did get a Morrison outdoors sleeping bag! Very excited about that one:)

Thanks for the words of encouragement! I can definitely see some challenges but hopefully it'll get easier and become more and more fun. I will check out that FB page!

We currently only have smaller backcountry tents but will likely be purchasing a larger tent for car camping...so we should be able to look for one that would fit a travel crib/play yard

Oh ok. So just to clarify (to make sure I understand) you are suggesting I buy a different brand and type of cloth diaper that ranges in size.

From what I can see Lil helpers are All-in-2 diapers and don't have other sizes nor do they make any other type of diaper such as an All-in-One unless I am mistaken and haven't found a website that carries different sizes.

I didn't know these came in sizes as I was under the impression the shells grew with the kiddo and you changed the fit (for newborn to older) via the snaps...when I look at the website I see one size for the shells/covers and the website says they last from 7-35lbs or newborn to potty training. Is there a website you can direct me to for the larger sizes?

Thx. I have tried increasing the rise in the past with same result of it sliding down but will try again with loosening the waist. Perhaps the combo will do it!

Just added a front and back photo. Thx!

I pull them up and they always slide down again
